Restore, reuse and resell analog cameras with Kamerastore.com

There are 100.000.000 unused analog film cameras in Europe alone, and they are built to be repaired. But no one was doing it at scale. This is what this bunch of people in Tampere, Finland figured out to be a gap in the market. So in 2017 they decided to start a mission to circulate 100.000 of them. They called it The Camera Rescue Project.

In this film, we meet Juho Leppänen - one of the founders of Kamerastore and the spokesperson for Camera Rescue in Finland. We talk how humans are losing their memories because of digital black holes, why we need more products that are designed to be repaired and how that could save us from this global downward spiral of consumption.
