FROM A PRODUCTION HOUSE AMONG OTHERS TO AN IMPACT DRIVEN BUSINESS
It all started back in 2020 when the pandemic hit and nobody knew anything about the future. Robin Danehav had just closed down his previous (much larger) production business to focus on things that he felt were more important, and at a much smaller scale.
But one day, in 2022 he stumbled into a small Italian restaurant in Lisbon, and ended the night with convincing the owner, Alex, that he’d come back to make a film about him.
Said and done — When editing that randomly gathered material into something, a thought appeared… “What if this is what I should be doing? Telling the stories of change makers like this.”
So that’s when he started the Youtube channel Story by Danehav into the world that later announced the mission to make 100 documentaries about impact makers around the world.
It began as a passion project, but slowly turned into a very important question:
What if storytelling and documentaries is exactly what impact brands need to get their audience to truly understand what sets them apart?
And this question is what turned this business around into a media company with a mission of creating serious impact.
Now we collaborate with brands to make this happen. We build social channels and communities of like minded people who can contribute, share and spread the message.
Based in Stockholm — but the world is our playground.

About Robin Danehav
Robin Danehav is a film producer, storyteller and change maker.
He’s been occupying space in the film making space for the last 18 years, building multiple production businesses and making films for a wide range of clients. But the heart of it all has always been storytelling - the art of changing the viewers emotional state using story structure, visuals and sound.
That storytelling, combined with a passion for doing good has turned into a super power.
Now forming highly skilled teams around each project with his connections around the world, he’s found a way to amplify this passion into real tangible impact.
There’s a strong belief that storytelling truly can change the world for the better. Through telling better stories we can change the current systems that are causing humanity to suffer.
